Volvo China Open Betting Preview 2012
It’s time we move back to the European Tour for a tournament and this week we bring you the Volvo China Open Betting Preview 2012.
The Tour moves on from Malaysia last week to Binhai Lake this week for the 9th staging of the Volvo China Open. The course measures 7600 yards from the tips so is a fairly long one and should suit the longer hitter. The fairways are fairly wide with firm greens not running more than 9.5 on the stimpmeter, the whole course is also fairly exposed to the natural elements with very few trees lining the fairways although there are several water hazards. The weather is expected to be fairly cold and dry this week even though there will be plenty sunshine.

The course measures 7300 yards from the tips and water comes into play on 10 of the 18 holes at Emirates Golf Club. As at all the other Middle Eastern venues of European Tour events, this course is in fantastic condition with firm greens running just over 12 on the stimpmeter…this will require high approach shots and superb touch on and around the greens.
