Westwood Leads in Dubai
Lee Westwood leads in Dubai on day three of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic after shooting five under 67 as Rory McIlroy and Thomas Björn faltered.
After finishing his second round 65 with three straight birdies, World Number Three Westwood picked up shots on three of his first four holes today en route to a 67 that lifted him to 15 under.

Rock Wins Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship
ABU DHABI: Englishman Robert Rock won the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships on Sunday to deny Tiger Woods his second win on the trot.
The world’s 117th ranked player fired a closing two-under par 70 for a total of 13-under par total of 275, that gave him a one stroke win over Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy who fired a final 69.
Jimenez joins Volvo Champions Tournament at Fancourt
Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez is the latest player to sign up for the European Tour’s Volvo Champions Tournament – it’s ‘tournament of champions’ event.
Other new participants include Paul Lawrie, Alexander Noren and Nicolas Colsaerts. Along with Jimenez, they will join the likes of Paul Casey, Charl Schwartzel, Retief Goosen, Thomas Björn, Colin Montgomerie, Louis Oosthuizen, Matteo Manassero and the European Tour’s Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Tom Lewis in competing for the hefty €350,000 first prize cheque at The Links at Fancourt in George, South Africa from 19th – 22nd January.
